Screaming angrily onto the Phoenix stage, armed with a croquet mallet and a Slurpee, is our final show for 2017, the cult hit HEATHERS THE MUSICAL!

Directed by Morgan Garrity, who has credits like Reefer Madness, The Addams Family Musical, Legally Blonde and our 2016 production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid to her name; with music direction by the amazing Brady Watkins, who was MD and co-director of a wonderful season of Bonnie & Clyde at Spotlight in 2016; and choreography by Lauren Wormald, owner of L.E. Academy, choreographer of Morgan's production of Legally Blonde at Spotlight and associate choreographer of the super funky 2016 show, Higher & Higher.

Based on the 1989 movie that starred Winona Ryder, Christian Slayer and Shannen Doherty, Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When the almighty Heather Chandler kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's aerobicized ass, but J.D. has another plan for that bullet. Cue music: DUN DUN DUUUUUN!
