Heathers: The Musical
Dramatic Productions presents
Heathers: The Musical

12 Oct 2018 to 27 Oct 2018

Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized ass… but J.D. has another plan for that bullet.

Brought to you by the award-winning creative team of Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness, “Desperate Housewives”), Laurence O’Keefe (Bat Boy, Legally Blonde) and Andy Fickman (Reefer Madness, She’s the Man). Heathers The Musical is a hilarious, heartfelt and homicidal new show based on the greatest teen comedy of all time. With its moving love story, laugh-out-loud comedy and unflinching look at the joys and anguish of high school.

This show is M rated and not suitable for the kiddies!

Cast Belle Nicol Belle Nicol
Veronica Sawyer
Belle is excited to be making her Canberra theatre debut playing one of her dream roles! Belle has been acting from a young age and did many drama productions throughout high school including playing the role of Smitty in her first musical “How To Succeed In Business” at LTC and Charlotte in “Moon Over Buffalo” for which she won a CAT award. Belle has been having voice training with her singing teacher Lauren Nihill for over two years, and as of last year has been doing acting classes with Chris Baldock through Mockingbird Theatre Company. When she is not acting Belle is lucky enough to work with truly wonderful children at a therapy centre, and considers the job to be acting experience in many ways. After a four year break from theatre Belle is thrilled to be back doing what she is most passionate about and is honoured to be working with an exceptionally talented cast and creative team. Belle hopes you all enjoy the show as much as she does. Lick it up, baby! more ...
