D2 Productions Presents: Master Class by Terrence McNally  - Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play - it tells the story of the glamorous opera diva, Maria Callas, holding a singing master class.  She is commanding, larger-than-life, caustic, and surprisingly funny.  Alternately dismayed and impressed by the students who parade before her, Callas cojoles and criticise to test their mettle and retreats into personal recollections about the highs and lows of her own fascinating life and incredible career.  Based on a legendary series of classes given by the iconic opera diva at New York's Juilliard School of Music, it provides a wonderful insight into La Divina's love for the Art of Performance.  

Performed in a beautiful and intimate setting, within the sandstone walls of The Gallery Room at Kirribilli Centre, 'Master Class' is incisive and riveting theatre that you won't want to miss!
