UNIQUE THEATRE PERFORMANCES THAT AMPLIFY DISABLED VOICES 

No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability presents theatre production ‘AMPLIFY!’ 

AMPLIFY! Is an original production of three newly devised theatre pieces from important South Australian disability theatre company No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability (No Strings), Mosaic Audio Visual our proud production partner. 

Every year, No Strings’ theatre ensembles devise new works out of their performers’ own lived experience, ideas, and creativity. This annual end-of-year performance is where training, talent and artistic experimentation meet. In 2023 Adelaide Fringe these new works are directed by local theatre practitioners, Dr Corinna Di Niro, Cat Purling & Mitre Khammash. thirty-one disabled actors will come together and perform new works that AMPLIFY their unique voice whilst showcasing their practiced artistic craft, in a more intimate setting than ever before. The Studio ensemble sharpens their satirical focus on bureaucratic madness. 

The Theatrics ensemble imagines a town without political interference. Is it as ideal as their town name suggests? 

And The Troupe ensemble explores the traditional character tropes found in Commedia Dell’Arte. In a world first, they create history as an ensemble of actors all living with disability, creating and presenting their own complete Commedia Dell’Arte performance. Come celebrate World Commedia Dell’Arte Day on Saturday 25th February as part of AMPLIFY.
