The students of the Michael Robertson Studio of Dance and Musical Theatre return to the stage in 2013 to present another show-stopping event, following their highly successful production Opening Night in 2011. Born to Entertain is a night showcasing exactly that - students that were born to be on the stage. The night features students aged from 4 years to adults presenting a range of quality performances in the styles of musical theatre, tap, jazz, classical ballet, national, contemporary and novelty. The night will also feature a first for any dance school in the city- a musical featuring the students of the studio. Annie Jr is the junior version of the Broadway hit musical Annie, which tells the story of little orphan Annie and her struggle to find her real parents in the midst of the 1930's depression. The show features well known songs Tomorrow, Hard Knock Life, Easy Street and You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile. Come and enjoy a wonderful night of entertainment for the whole family.
