Nikki-Lyn HunterNikki-Lyn Hunter
Having spent many years in Scotland singing her way through Gilbert and Sullivan, Oh What a Lovely War, Oklahoma and My Fair Lady, Nik arrived in Australia and hammed it up with the military during various postings, starring in (in)famous productions such as How Green was my Wellie and The Lady Screamsalot. Her big break in Canberra came when she took part in Canberra Rep's Lady Windermere's Fan - having only one line she endeavoured to say it a different way for each performance - much to the confusion of her fellow players. She then appeared before a gobsmacked Canberra audience wearing only a couple of sticky buns as Celia in Canberra Rep's Production of Calendar Girls. Still swinging the hip flask but minus the buns, she recently played Stephanie in Tempo Theatre's production of Nick Enright's Daylight Saving. Currently rehearsing for EQUUS with Canberra Rep. Nikki has also had one season with Short & Sweet. Aside from theatre, Nik also reads for Radio RPH 1125 and works full time.
