A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum

14 May 2014 to 17 May 2014

A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM is a non-stop, high octane, laugh a minute farce with something for everyone – be that pirates, cross dressing or metatheatre.

If Fawlty Towers were set in Ancient Rome, they’d sue for copyright infringement. Psuedolus, a wily and probably female slave, will do literally anything for her freedom – which is good, considering she pretty much does everything to get it. Throw in a love sick teenager, a beautiful courtesan, a slimy merchant, a hysterical slave and a bunch of other characters whose descriptions aren’t as amusing, and you’ve got yourself a comedy, tonight.
