ACT UP 2021 a short performance showcase based on the theme ‘New Normal – project yourself into the future’.

2021 is the seventh year of the Festival at CTC. The Festival has seen some transformations over this time after transitioning from a competitive to a non-competitive fringe festival where the sharing of ideas and the opportunity for students to show each other their work in various art forms.

This year we are embracing the theme ‘New Normal’ and the idea is for students to investigate their future and imagine a world they would like to live in. We hope to help more students challenge themselves and develop their talents to even greater levels while maintaining the non-competitive elements of the festival and giving more schools the opportunity to see the great work of students through a schools matinee and public evening performance in The Playhouse.
