Legs Mid Year Showcase
At Legs Performing Arts, we believe every dancer deserves a moment to shine — and our Mid Year Show is just that! Held at the end of Term 2, it’s a wonderful opportunity for our dancers to take to the stage, celebrate everything they’ve worked so hard to achieve, and build their confidence ahead of our spectacular end of year production in November.
Every class across the Legs Dance programs gets to perform a specially prepared routine, lovingly crafted by their teacher to showcase each dancer’s unique talents and celebrate all they’ve learned over the past two terms. It’s a true joy to watch!
With dancers ranging from 5 years old right through to adults, you can look forward to an exciting mix of styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Contemporary. Our Drama and Acting students also get their time in the spotlight at the Winter Showcase — it truly is a celebration of all the incredible talent within our Legs family!
One of the things we love most about this showcase is its relaxed, feel-good spirit. There’s no theatre rehearsal beforehand — our amazing dancers simply step out onto the stage and give it everything they’ve got. And they absolutely love every second of it!
There’s nothing quite like the look on a dancer’s face when they spot their loved ones in the audience! Your cheers, claps and smiles mean the world to them, so please bring all your energy and enthusiasm — it makes the whole experience truly magical.
The Petite/Junior Show is pure delight from start to finish! Featuring our youngest performers aged 5 through to 12 years, it is absolutely bursting with cuteness, enthusiasm and heart.
The Intermediate/Senior Show is where you’ll witness the passion and dedication of our more experienced dancers, many of whom have been part of the Legs family for years. This show also proudly features our beloved Legs Dream Team — our extraordinary special needs and disability dance group. Be prepared to be moved, inspired, and utterly blown away. They never fail to bring the house down!
