Cindel Waddington
Cindel grew up with a youth theatre company from the age of five - nineteen.
Over that course of time, she was offered the opportunity to go on tour performing in Queensland, Los Angeles & New York where she took accent and improvisation classes.
After graduating from The Actors Workshop in 2015, Cindel moved to Melbourne to continue her creative journey in short films, web series, ‘what’s on’ campaigns, and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
Her roles have ranged from The Red Queen in Alice to Shirley Markowitz in The Producers to Ouiser Bordeaux in Steel Magnolias to Billy Elliot’s Grandma to one of the Ugly Step-Sisters in Cinderella.
Cindel is a proud member of the LGTBQIA+ community, which has her excited to share ‘The Cocoon’ with Brisbane (hopefully the world someday). She is most passionate about normalising queer characters and is keen to start gender-flipping roles! Parkour!
