Elizabeth Avery Scott is a well-known playwright and theatre producer currently living in the ACT. She is co-founder and CEO of Perform Australia, Canberra's multi-award-winning drama school, whose mission is to launch passion-driven actors. She is also co-founder of Honest Puck theatre company and frequently produces their productions.

Her plays have been produced in Sydney and Canberra and include Chez Francois, All That I Am And All That I Have, Five Minutes More, The Rational Dress Society and Other Tales, and Australurbia, among others, as well as several plays for children to perform. Her play, Lies, Love and Hitler was shortlisted for the prestigious Rodney Seaborn Playwrights Award. 

Elizabeth is also a trained counsellor and runs a private counselling practice called Hot Cocoa Counselling. She has a special interest in supporting local creatives and others who are looking for emotional support in difficult times.
