Sophie Smyth a Melbourne-based actor, singer, writer and occasional dancer on the Autism spectrum with a special interest in musical theatre. She graduated from Federation University’s Arts Academy with a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) in 2016. Her credits since graduating include Motor-Mouth Loves Suck-Face: An Apocalyptic Musical at La Mama Theatre (2018); and Jolyon James' Helpmann Award winning musical Robot Song in Australia and internationally (2019-20). Her cabaret The Aspie Hour (www.theaspiehour.com) has played to sold-out audiences across Australia at Sydney Festival (2020), Perth Fringe World (2020), Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2018-19) and Melbourne Writers Festival (2018). For this she was awarded the 2019 Green Room Award for Best Writing in a Cabaret and nominated for Best Ensemble. She is represented as an artist and creative with Mollison Keightley Management.
