After almost a ten year break, Andrew returned to the stage in 2015 with the chorus of Pirates of Penzance with Canberra Philharmonic Society. From there he has solely worked with Canberra Opera. In 2016 Andrew performed with the men's chorus of Suor Angelica. From 2017 he was a principal artist with the company appearing as Gabriel von Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus (2017), Ferrando in Cosi fan Tutte (2018) and Alfio in Cavalleria Rusticana (2019). Andrew has also performed as a soloist in every Canberra Opera concert for the past four years. He was also a Canberra Opera Featured Artist in 2018's recital series. More recently, among other events, Andrew appeared as a soloist at the Palace Electric premier of Pavarotti on behalf of Canberra Opera.Dramatic tenor, Andrew Barrow is currently under the expert tutelage of Sonia Anfiloff. Prior to this he commenced intensive Bel Canto training with David Reedy in 2017 and was a recipient of the David Reedy Vocal Scholarship in 2018 and 2019. Prior to this Andrew studied Classical Voice under Celina Lindsley and Lousie Page as well as repetiteur, Alan Hicks at the Australian National University and Performance Arts at Wollongong University with Lotte Latukefu.Prior to his break from the stage, Andrew appeared on stages around Canberra in productions of The Magic Flute with the Australian National University, Hello Dolly with Canberra Philharmonic Society, Guys & Dolls with Phoenix Players and Grease with G-String Productions.
