James Walsh is a solicitor based in Griffith. He grew up in Boorowa and got his first taste of theatre (and long and late-night drives to rehearsal) in Young NSW in 2007 in the Young Theatre Company Inc production of Les Miserables (Enjorlas). Henry V will be James' eighth show, with the intervening years a mixture of musical theatre, in Young (Jimmy, Thoroughly Modern Millie 2009) and Griffith (Frex/ Ensemble Wicked 2017, Aaron Schultz/Ensemble Legally Blonde 2019), and Shakespeare with GRAPA (Orsino Twelfth Night 2018, Bottom Midsummer Night's Dream 2019), as well as an award-winning radio play series Vintage Voices (Rev'd Bennett/Tango Joe) produced by GRAPA in 2019 during the COVID-19 restrictions. While his training and experience is predominantly in singing, James is enjoying the opportunity to flex his dramatic skills in this theatrical classic.
