Lachlan's passion for acting began the moment he saw the first harry potter film at the age of 7, declaring quote, "I will be Harry or die trying!". 10 years later Lachlan has been in 17 productions and is still yet to be cast as Harry. Despite this, his pursuit of the role as a child lead Lachlan to fall in love with acting. Some may recognize Lachlan from his previous roles including, 'Inspector Fix' in Around the World in 80-Days (Radford, 2019), 'Jay Gatsby' in The Great Gatsby (Budding Entertainment, 2020), and Mal Beineke in The Addams Family Musical (Radford, 2021). Although none of these compared to his first ever performance, playing 'Vampire 1' in the student written play Afro Duck (Canberra Youth Theatre, 2012). In January 2021 Lachlan had the opportunity to be trained by successful screen actor Mojean Aria and soon after was accepted into the NIDA Young Actors Studio, where he trains each Sunday. Lachlan is delighted to be playing the role of Moon in The Real Inspector Hound. Lachlan has taken a strictly method approach to the role of Moon, adopting many of Moon's traits into his daily life. As Moon is a theatre critic, Lachlan has spent the past 6 months writing harsh, judgy, reviews on everyone in his life and posting them online. Due to this Lachlan has lost all his friends and often not even the teachers want to be around him. In an interview about this Lachlan was asked, "is it really worth it", to which he replied, "absolutely, I hope it makes an enjoyable performance for all, especially any who may be casting directors looking for a Harry Potter.
