Issy is so excited to be playing the role of Mrs Drudge in 2021's production of The Real Inspector Hound. After some of Issy's previous roles as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, the role of Mrs Drudge was only a natural progression in her acting career. Issy says that this is the role she was born for, and every single second she has spent learning to act and every role and production she has undertaken throughout her life has all been in pursuit of the theatrical legend that is Mrs Drudge. In comparison to her other acting roles, Mrs Drudge has been the most complex and deeply profound acting role for Issy, demanding more theatrical prowess than she's ever had to muster up before. Issy was planning to continue to pursue acting throughout her life as it is such a great passion of hers, but has said that she believes that the role of Mrs Drudge is truly the peak of her acting career, and that no role will ever compare to that of Mrs Drudge, so there is no point in continuing, and has decided to quit while she's ahead. Issy has taken an innovative approach to her development of this character by undertaking method-acting to create the most authentic version of Mrs Drudge she can. She actually spent 4 years living on the streets of East End London and was picked up off the side of the road by a wealthy lord who owned an estate on the cliffs. She cannot disclose what she got up to in that time, for legal reasons. She did this all to prepare for the iconic role that is Mrs Drudge. This truly is the peak of Issy's acting career, or, as Mrs Drudge would say "Issa good bloody role innit!".
