Sophie Strykowski is an actor and performance maker from Sydney. She graduated with a BA in Theatre and Performance from UNSW in 2018, and since graduating, she has performed with ATYP, Q Theatre and several Independent theatre companies in Sydney. Some of her credits include; Natives (2021) at KXT Bakehouse, Dear Australia (2021) with Spark Youth Theatre, Girl Shut Your Mouth (2020) with Theatre Travels, Originate (2020) with Q Theatre, Intersection 2019: Arrival with ATYP, Van De Maar Papers (2019) with Ratcatch, Hairworm (2019) with Eye Contact Theatre, and Love and Information (2016) directed by Tessa Leong. Along with acting, Sophie is passionate about queer and contemporary Australian stories and devised performance. She has worked collaboratively in residencies with KXT, Bite Productions, as well as ATYP; where she created a digital performance for RoomWorks (2020).
