Karen Da Silva has been the Principal Accompanist of the Australian Rugby Choir since 2005.
She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Melbourne and a Diploma in Education from the University of Canberra.
Karen has been a music teacher with the ACT Education and Training Directorate since 2005, including as a member of staff of the Instrumental Band Program in ACT government primary schools.
Since early in 2019 she has also run the Pied Piper Music For Littlies program, with the website www.piedpipermusic.com.au.
In 2014 she was appointed as Principal Accompanist for the Male Choirs Association of Australia festival held in Canberra, playing a wide-ranging repertoire for a choir of over 400 male voices. In 2014 Karen received the choir's Patron's Award.
