Andrew Wadley has had a keen interest in music since the age of five when he commenced
piano lessons.  He has an appreciation  for many genres of music including  classical  organ, 
piano,  choral,  jazz,  orchestral  and  musical  theatre.  Andrew  has  sung  with  choirs  such  
as Canticum Chamber Choir, Brisbane Chorale and NYCA and has been a regular organist for Brisbane 
Boys’ College and St Andrew’s Uniting Church. Accompanying performances by Q.U.M.S,  the  
Queensland  Youth  Orchestra,  Brisbane  Philanthropic  orchestra  and  various chamber  ensembles  
has  been  an  enjoyable  part  of  Andrew’s  music  career.  Since  2003, Andrew has been studying 
organ under the direction of Christopher Wrench and Christopher Cook. He has been successful in 
winning two scholarships for organ tuition: the Walter-Monz Bursary (2004) and the Harmer Memorial 
Scholarship (2005). Theatre companies Andrew has worked with as repetiteur include Starlight, 
Phoenix, Queensland  Musical Theatre and Blue Fish. Andrew completed  a degree in Optometry  at the 
end of 2007, and is the Director  of
Specsavers in Strathpine, Brisbane.
