Julianne enjoys performing in and choreographing musical theatre productions. She has been in several QMT shows, among them Anything Goes, No No, Nanette! and Bitter Sweet. She played Frenchie, an alluring dancer in the Kit Kat Club in QMT's acclaimed production of Cabaret in 2010 and most recently enjoyed performing in Sweet Charity. Her QMT choreographic credits include The Merry Widow (2009) and Oliver! (2011).
A qualified C.S.T.D. dance teacher, Julianne has taught Ballet, Tap and Jazz for many years and has
entered students in many eisteddfodau, concerts and exams with great success. Julianne recently participated in Musical Theatre Masterclasses at The Broadway Dance Center in New York.
The knowledge she gained from the classes has been invaluable for her role as choreographer in West Side Story. Aside from Musical Theatre, Julianne is very passionate about child and maternal health and enjoys working in this area professionally. She hopes one day to do some volunteer work in developing countries, working to improve the health and outcomes for infants and pregnant women. Julianne is very thankful for her supportive husband and family who enable her to be involved in musical theatre.
