The Magic Flute

3 May 2013 to 5 May 2013

Opera by Candlelight’s The Magic Flute is an entertaining new English language production of Mozart’s best and most tuneful opera. Every song, word, and joke is in English (Except for ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ and ‘Papageno’).

Enjoy a musical fairy tale with all the classic characters: a beautiful stolen Princess, a handsome Prince, a fierce dragon, a glam but vengeful Queen, three scheming beauties, an evil slave, a funny birdman, his pretty girlfriend, cheeky little boys and happy endings all round! Add memorable tunes by Mozart, and a cast of glorious singers from Europe, Australia, America and New Zealand, and you are guaranteed complete entertainment.

Tickets at tables are sold in tables of 8 or 9. Our generous wine sponsor, Jim Murphy’s Market Cellars, is offering a complimentary wine package with your booking of 6 or more table seats. Smaller number of tickets may be available closer to the date.
