In a bar in the Bronx, at the end of the line, Danny meets Roberta. Both seek refuge there for the night away from the pain of a world that has never been theirs. As the two pry and poke their way through their sordid pasts, they each find a kindred spirit, seemingly put here solely for their own absolution.
Danny has beaten down half of NY, a man whose only vocabulary is his fists. Roberta is constructed of venom and regret and is living with a terrible secret. As the two duel their way through what could be their last chance at human connection, Shanley reveals a story of hope, love and the solace that can only be found in someone as lonely as you.
