Lamb by Jane Bodie

29 Oct 2021 to 14 Nov 2021

Riverside Theatres Digital presents Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre & Critical Stages Touring production Lamb by Jane Bodie. The production will stream in an exclusive online Watch Party on Friday 29 October at 7:30pm, and then will be available to watch on-demand until 10pm Sunday 14 November 2021.

A play about family, the land and being the one who stays, with original music by Mark Seymour.

From multi-award-winning playwright Jane Bodie, and featuring original songs by Mark Seymour (Mark Seymour and the Undertow, Hunters and Collectors), Lamb is the story of one family on an Australian sheep farm, over generations – the guilt of those who left; the lost desires of those who stayed behind.

Developed through Red Stitch’s INK program, Lamb is a new Australian play full of lyrical longing and humour. It is a story of the land, and of lies told and secrets kept to protect those we love – and to stop them from leaving us.

Lamb by Jane Bodie Online Watch Party and Interactive Live Chat will also offer a behind-the-scenes insight into the making of the show, featuring a live conversation with members of the creative team: Director and CEO of Critical Stages Chris Bendall, Director of Lamb Julian Meyrick and performers Darcy Kent & Brigid Gallacher.

From Saturday 30 October at 10am to Sunday 14 November 2021 at 10pm inclusive, Lamb by Jane Bodie will also be available to stream On Demand. During this period of time, viewers can watch as many times as they wish.
