Portraits

20 Nov 2021 to 21 Nov 2021

'The Godfather' meets 'The Haunting of Hill House' in this immersive sound experience that places you in a web of secrets and danger. Step inside the Godbold’s creaking mansion and discover what you’re really made of….

Youngest child Martin Godbold has been living in the shadow of his philanthropist father, and now it’s time for him to take his rightful place in the family company. But as a criminal investigation looms and familiar faces appear on their doorstep, old ghosts and loyalties threaten to tumble the family’s now crumbling empire.

From Brisbane based multi-sensory producers Observatory Theatre, this searing new Australian drama dares to ask: what are we made of? What do we truly owe the ones who came before us? And at what point does tradition overtake our humanity?

Written and Directed by Lachlan Driscoll. Featuring Rebecca Day, Emile Regano, James Hogan and Robert Wainwright.
