An irreverent and provocative exploration of everyday resistance. Facilitated by a mischievous but supportive host, this is a communal roleplaying encounter of ethical and social dilemma.
Dissent involves role-play, and invites consensually-selected audience members to make choices and respond to provocations. These provocations may encourage facilitated, but improvised, exploration of hyperlocal social, political, or economic class systems and dynamics, and may imagine situations which involve acts of authoritarianism, aggression, coarse language, and other violence. Other audience members may also be asked direct, subjective questions by the artist.
