Set against the backdrop of 1950's New York, this legendary Broadway Musical re-imagines the story of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet in an immigrant racial conflict between the Polish-American 'Jets' and the Puerto-Rican 'Sharks'.

Matt has been a part of the Melbourne Theatre scene for as long as he can remember, appearing in countless productions across Melbourne (and regional Victoria) and is an experienced actor, singer, writer and director.

He has played a multitude of roles, including Max Bialystock in The Producers, Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, The Engineer in Miss Saigon, and most recently Bill Sykes in Oliver!.

When not on the stage, Matt is usually behind the scenes, directing, writing or running regular workshops and Drama Courses with Adlib Entertainment. Matt graduated from the VCA in 2008, completing the Foundation Music Theatre course, and now owns and operates his own Company, Hillbilly Productions. more ... Cast
