The Thing That's Missing by Canberra playwright Elizabeth Avery Scott presents the stories of four young people who’ve had something taken away… and how they choose to cope with it. Sometimes things are ripped from our lives, sometimes we lose them, and sometimes what’s missing are people who have deliberately left us behind. This play is a beautiful, funny, and often poignant exploration of loss, and finding strength in the midst of it – and whether it’s an object, a future or a relationship that’s gone astray, The Thing That’s Missing brings home to us the value in what we have.
