Alex McPherson
ACT
Having grown up listening to the My Fair Lady score, Alex was delighted to hear that QP was bringing it to the Q stage. Alex was last seen as Cindy in the original production The Rokitelly Man (Dramatic Productions/ Ickle Pickle, 2014). Some favourite characters from her musical theatre dalliances include the twee school girl Polly Browne (The Boy Friend, SUPA, 2005), for which she received a CAT award, and the delightfully naughty Goldilocks (Goldilocks, Centrepiece Theatre, 2012). In 2010 Alex was lucky enough to play her dream role of Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest (Free Rain). Other memorable characters include Elinor Dashwood (Sense and Sensibility, Free Rain, 2009) and Naomi (Secret Bridesmaids' Business, Canberra Rep, 2011), who continues to provide great amusement during wedding season.
