Gerard joined the team part way through the production process and is most grateful to the impressive cast for their support. The role of Jonas Fogg has proved a challenge as he attempts to portray a sadistic creep - Gerard's first attempt at playing a villain.
Gerard was introduced to music and theatre by his Aunty Meg in the early 1970's and credits her for developing his interest. Several seasons of Rugby in the 1990's - included post-match revelry across suburban Sydney which enhanced and ensured an ability to project his singing voice. His most recent Canberra show saw him play the role of Max in the Q Players production of the Sound of Music 2014. Other shows have included Annie Get Your Gun, 42nd Street, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Annie.
