Nathan Rutups
ACT
Nathan is an aspiring choreographer who has gone through his years performing and choreographing in local Canberra theatre. Nathan has been in various musical theatre performances, and has completed a Diploma of Musical theatre at Perform Australia formerly Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art ('13). Nathan has developed a deep attachment for choreography and has gone on to receive the 'People's Choice Award' for his choreography performance at the Canberra SIDS for Kids, Red Nose Charity; Dancing with the Stars ('17). Nathan was thrilled for the opportunity to choreograph 'Heathers' the musical ('19) with Dramatic Productions. His musical theatre choreography debut for 'Heathers' went on to receive a Canberra Critics Award for best choreography for a musical. Nathan currently teaches dance at Perform Australia and his other choreography credits include: 'The Rainbow Fish' ('22), 'Xanadu the Musical' ('22) and his most recent show with Dramatic Productions, 'School of Rock' ('22).
