Lachlan Ruffy is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (Acting) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). His last performance in Canberra was in the role of Thomas Klopper in Repertory's The Book of Everything. Recently, he has also played Snug the Joiner in Queanbeyan City Council's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as featuring in Rep's Jazz Garters IV, and playing the role of Sergei in Supa's Eurobeat, Combeferre in Philo's Les Miserables and various ensemble characters in Everyman's Rent. He also received critical and popular acclaim for his performances as Jay in Rep's Lost in Yonkers, Gus in Free Rain's Cats, Trooper Botha/Corporal Sharp in Everyman's Breaker Morant and Mr Bingley in Rep's Pride and Prejudice. Ruffy has been involved in nearly fifty productions to date, as an actor, director, lighting designer, sound operator and member of the stage crew.
He recently graduated from ANU's now deceased drama department, and his Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education at the University of Canberra.
