Richard Niven

Richard has made a major contribution to Canberra theatre over the last decade by looking after his three daughters instead of performing. Before that he was in a number of shows including Pirates of Penzance and The Mikado at the Canberra Theatre, and Canberra Philharmonic's 2002 production of Les Misérables.
After a decade's absence he returned in Canberra Philharmonic Society's production of Fiddler on the Roof with his entire family, and is excited to be performing with such a talented cast in The Phantom of the Opera. And performing Andrew Lloyd Webber when you are a bass provides a suitable challenge.
