Steve McGrory
ACT
From an early age, Steve was drawn to the stage in a variety of roles as an actor, singer, model and dancer. He has also been a sound engineer, DJ, photographer, musician, keyboardist, conceptualist and percussionist.
After an absence of 20 years from musical theatre, Steve returned to play Simeon in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 2010, Jazz Garters in 2009 and more recently, Pa Carnes in Oklahoma, minor roles in short films and performances at Merimbula Jazz festivals.
The Phantom of the Opera has been a very rewarding experience and Steve would like to thank the production team for their faith, the cast for their dedication, the crew for their support and especially Leisa Keen for encouraging him to find the courage to perform and write the next exciting chapter in his life.
