Previously Luke played high level Rugby Union, representing teams such as The Australian National Talent Squad against Agentina and Japan.

Luke Middlebrook is now an actor and model studying at The Australian Academy of Dramatic Art (currently known as AIM-Dramatic Arts), Bachelor of Performance and Charles Sturt University (CSU's) Bachelor of Arts in Literature and History (Minoring in Writing). Recent stage experience consists of Fire & Ice, The Rimer’s of Eldritch, Playhouse Creatures, The Three Trials of Azdak, Don Giovanni and Chekhov in Hell. Luke models annually for Brian Sipe, ACMUSE and Gamut Studios at the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show (IMATS), recently he was invited to model for Brian Sipe and Ben Nye.

Luke has also begun to establish a well rounded foundation in technical, production and creative roles. His experience in these roles consist of Assistant Lighting Designer, Sound Designer, Head Mechanist, Assistant Stage Manager, Stage Director and Producer. Luke has most recently fulfilled the role of Production Manager and Head Stage Manager on the world’s largest short play festival, Short+Sweet.
