Soprano Krystle Innes is in her third year of studies at the Australian National University School of Music with vocal teachers Anthea Moller and Angela Giblin. Krystle's love of music started at an early age and she performed in the musical Annie at the tender age of 8. This was followed shortly thereafter with performances in LES MISÉRABLES - where she played her first lead role as Cosette, CALAMITY JANE and SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS.Having developed a taste for 'the industry' Krystle attended boarding school at Canberra Girls' Grammar to further her musical skills. It was here that she fell in love with classical music and opera. Upon graduation from High School Krystle studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music starring in operas such as LES MAMELLES DE TIRÉSIAS. Since returning to Canberra Krystle has been involved in many local productions including HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, FAME, ALBERT HERRING and HAIRSPRAY. Krystle has been nominated for three Canberra Area Theatre Awards (CAT Awards) and has received a Canberra Critic's Award, a Judge's Choice CAT Award and also received the highly competitive Eurobodalla Saint Cecilia Scholarship.During her studies at the Australian National University Krystle has kept herself busy teaching music and performing solo concerts at embassies, weddings and functions.
