The Guild Theatre, established in 1952 and based in Railway Street (corner Walz Street), Rockdale is considered one of the foremost community theatre groups in Sydney.

The Guild Theatre aims to be a vibrant community theatre group that nurtures local theatrical talent and provides first class entertainment to its patrons.

Since 1952 the Guild Theatre has produced over 250 plays from Shakespeare to David Williamson. Our membership of dedicated and skilled performers and practitioners ensures that the standard of our community theatre productions and performances has never been higher. Such standards are reflected in the strong patronisation and subscriber base that continues to grow.

The Guild offers its members the opportunity to participate in bringing to its patrons a wide range of dramas and comedies. New members are always welcome.
