SA Light Opera Society Inc was formed in 1983 By Bill Youde who was involved in the establishment of three other amateur theatre companies.  As Bill loved operetta and variety shows, so SALOS has found its niche in South Australia - the only company offering its audiences a diet of the old style musical and music hall variety.
