Parenthood; the trials, tribulations, and social commentary around it is a conversation that affects us all at some point or another. Regardless of gender, but particularly for women, the pressure/stigmas and stereotypes around this topic are pervasive. There is so much more to “having kids” than the nuclear family we grew up with or the dozens of questions at every family gathering after you hit 30.

The “Perfect Parent”, the age old Mother/Whore complex, infertility, the tragedy and grief of miscarriage, Queer Family Dynamics, the way being Culturally and Linguistically diverse or BIPOC affects your relationship with kids and having kids, IVF, the trauma of Childbirth, not wanting kids, pressure on female bodies, DILFS, the hilarity of children, pregnant Seahorse drag King… no topic is off limits because ALL STORIES ARE VALID.

Every story deserves to be heard. All genders. All backgrounds. All experiences. When approached safely, no story should be suppressed; contrary to what society tells us.

Prepare to laugh, be entertained, to be moved. The world is not always perfect but let us disempower tragedy through sharing.
