Some 2000 years ago, Jesus emerges as an unknown from the town of Nazareth, in the midst of a world under Roman occupation. Before long, this man begins to teach at religious venues. Crowds flock to hear him speak. The word on the street is that people are being healed from every kind of sickness and disease. So who is this man, and what's it all about? Is he a fraud? Or is there something in it? 

These are the questions buzzing in the minds of the religious leaders. He's shaking things up. Shifting the power balance in society. Not only that, he's fraternizing with the weak, the underprivileged, the outcasts, and even the prostitutes. And soon, they decide, he must be stopped....
