Harriet Copeland is running a competition at a feminist publishing house to find new romantic fiction; their motto is ‘For Women By Women’. So aspiring writer, Leonard Loftus, is forced to submit his novel under the female pseudonym of Lulabelle Latiffa. When Lulabelle wins the first prize, Leonard begins to have major problems which are made worse when he falls hopelessly in love with Harriet. With domestic complications from his wayward daughter and rascally old father, he tries frantically to keep up the charade of Lulabelle. Life can be a comedy of errors where decisions and actions can create challenges that result in beneficial outcomes – Nobody's Perfect and that’s a good thing.
