Rowena Batts has no voice, but she’s the world’s biggest blabbermouth. 

She’s just started at a new school, so life’s a bit of a challenge, but her new friend Amanda is pretty cool. But that Darryn Peck is a pest! 

Rowena’s dad is an apple farmer and aspiring country and western singer – but he just can’t seem to pull his head in when he needs to. 

Her new teacher, Ms Dunning, seems to be taking a shine to him… maybe love is in the air. 

On the other hand, maybe love sucks – could it turn out to be the worst day of her life?
