Originally from Melbourne, Chelsea studied Theatre and Performance at Monash University. Chelsea has previously performed in Melbourne productions including Waterdale Player's Pippin and Annie and a long run as a featured performer in Melbourne GangShow. Chelsea also directed Andrew Bovell's Speaking in Tongues at Monash University, and was Assistant Stage Manager for the debut production of Patricia Cornelius & Melissa Reeves' UPRISING at Malthouse Theatre, and Watch This Productions' 2016 tour of Steven Sondheim's Company. Since coming to Canberra, Chelsea has returned to the stage as Natalie in Canberra Philharmonic Society's Strictly Ballroom the Musical in 2017, and ensemble in their 2018 production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Whilst at Monash she completed a secondment with GHOST THE MUSICAL, Ambassador Theatre Group (2016), Assistant Stage Managed COMPANY, Watch This Productions (2016), and UPRISING, Malthouse Theatre (2016), as well as directing a performance of SPEAKING IN TONGUES, Monash University (2016).
Since coming to Canberra Chelsea has returned to the stage, receiving a Canberra Area Theatre (CAT) Award for “Best Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical” for her performance as Martha Dunnstock and Pauline Fleming in HEATHERS THE MUSICAL, Dramatic Productions (2018). She has also appeared as Trish in KINKY BOOTS THE MUSICAL, Free-Rain Productions (2019), and ensemble in THE FULL MONTY, Supa Productions (2019), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Canberra Philharmonic Society (2018) and STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL, Canberra Philharmonic Society (2017).
In 2021 Chelsea can be seen as Hattie in Queanbeyan Players KISS ME KATE and Rizzo in Canberra Philharmonic Society's GREASE THE MUSICAL.
