Jenna Roberts has been performing in Canberra since 2004 featuring in a number of theatre, film and live art projects. Growing up as a dancer she found her feet on the over-raked, tiny stages of small-town shire halls in countless Eisteddfods and in whatever retirement village, variety night or school assembly would have her. Canberra's vibrant performance scene was an exciting discovery upon moving up to the 'big smoke' from regional Victoria and it was here she began experimenting with singing.Recently Jenna performed as a guest vocal artist at ACT's annual Carols by Candlelight as well as FreeRain's CHICAGO. Her role as Roxie Hart in CHICAGO saw her take out the 2012 CAT Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical. She has also appeared in Centrepiece's LOVE SONG, FreeRain's OKLAHOMA! and CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, plus a number of amateur theatre competitions and ANU-affiliated projects.Jenna occasionally tends to make last minute singing appearances at weddings and funerals (two for the price of one). Jenna has spent the last 12 months in relative seclusion in South Australia trying to complete her PhD in Environmental Contaminant Chemistry. Later this year she will be playing the lead role in The Q's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and hopefully will submit her thesis. She is delighted to be a part of the I Love You, You're Perfect team, and to be performing with her favourite redhead again. Media
