After an absence from the stage for almost a decade, Marcus Hurley returns to the stage in Phantom - his first show in Canberra.

Growing up in a musical family, Marcus draws great inspiration from his mother's contagious passion for singing.

Marcus had appeared in multiple productions before his 7 year hiatus, from Andrew Lloyd Webber's other stage classic Jesus Christ Superstar at Canberra Boys Grammar, to his most recent performance as Frederick in UNSW's New College production of Pirates of Penzance.

Marcus hopes that his foray in Free-Rain's Phantom of the Opera is the beginning of a long and successful relationship with the theatrical community in Australia's capital. Media
