Home at the End
4 Sep 2013 to 14 Sep 2013
At the end of a pier sits a decrepit fisherman’s shack. Inside, a lost young girl finds a grizzled tramp; a recluse, a frightened storyteller.
The tramp’s stories bring the discarded cans, the dusty ropes, and surroundings to life. Yet not all is as it seems.
Acclaimed Canberran playwright, Duncan Ley, a former Patrick White Playwright’s Award nominee, has written a powerful story of life, love, loss and guilt: a journey towards a man’s confrontation with himself and his past.
This world premiere is a searing tale where a single decision in the smallest of moments can change a family forever.

Dot is delighted to be stage managing at The Q again. This hilarious musical is quite different from her last show,
CALENDAR GIRLS
for Rep, especially the scene involving a dressing gown (if you saw
CALENDAR GIRLS
, you’ll know what she means). After this show, Dot will SM at Rep for
JAZZ GARTERS 4
, followed by
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
at The Canberra Theatre, for Free-Rain.
