Fraser Findlay: Born in Glasgow, Scotland Fraser spent his youth between a small isolated Scottish town called Campbeltown (his hometown) and Virginia Beach, VA, USA. He was encouraged my music teachers and family to participate in any and all music programs available and in his teen years this culminated in many years singing with the highly accomplished Virginia Children's Chorus and attending the Vocal Program at the Governors School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA. After being heavily submersed in the world of classical music, Fraser veered off of his current course to attend college in NYC in the Musical Theater Program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
After graduation, Frasers first gig sent him out on a national US tour with an educational bilingual performance of Le Petit Prince. This was the beginning of almost 15 years of touring and performing around the world on cruise ships, in local productions, television shows, conferences and many other projects and venues. He is also a passionate teacher of Musical Theatre and Voice after having pushed Step by Step Dubai to great success by spearheading it's Musical Theatre Program and its subsequent productions as Artistic Director. After singing throughout Europe with The 12 Tenors, Fraser now finds himself in Canberra, Australia facing the exciting task of "starting again", meeting and networking with Australian producers, casting agents and performers and proving himself on the local stage. Since arriving in November 2014 he has played Jacob in La Cage Aux Folles (SUPA), sung for Canberra in Carols by Candlelight, and understudied Bert in Mary Poppins (Free Rain). This performance is dedicated to Nate and Aria for their constant love and support. Media
