Sue RichardsSue Richards
ACT
After many, many years Sue is pleased to finally be working again with Stephen Pike, having enjoyed his company as a Stage-Door Johnny to her Adelaide Adams in Tempo Theatre's Calamity Jane in the late '70s! Since then Sue has studied performing arts in Queensland and dabbled in most genres of theatre from opera to pantomime, children's theatre to repertory and cabaret choir. Last seen as a mischievous granny (amongst other characters) in The Rokitelly Man, some of her more memorable roles include a Gemini Twin in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Sue Smith in No, No Nanette, Kanga in Winnie-the-Pooh, Gwendolyn in The Odd Couple and Josie Mann in The Boy From Oz. Sue also made numerous appearances in Canberra Repertory's Old Time Music Hall dance troupe and had fun of 'whoring around' in the Canberra Philharmonic's latest production of Les Miserables! She would like to thank her mother for her singing, her father for her acting and her daughter for constantly encouraging her to keep auditioning.
