Short + Sweet is a four day festival of a collection of performances that are all under 10 minutes, presented by local and interstate dancers, performers, singers and choreographers.

Short + Sweet Dance participants have the opportunity to receive awards such as Most Outstanding Choreography, Best Male/Female Dancer decided by a panel of respected dance community members. Similarly, there is a People’s Choice Award, which is presented to the choreographer of the work that receives the most audience votes over the whole season. There are prizes attached to each award. Likewise, with Short + Sweet Cabaret participants will be awarded Most Outstanding Production, Best Male/Female Dancer decided by a panel of respected arts community members. Audience will also have the opportunity to award the People's Choice Award.
