Having just finished playing one of the Apostles in PeeWee Production's Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Spectacular, Lachy is incredibly excited to be playing Sonny for the QCC's production of Grease. After studying drama and music in school, he was encouraged to put his skills in both areas to use through musical theatre. Starting with The Pirates of Penzance (2011) and the role of Dandy Dan in the gang musical, Bugsy Malone (2013) at St Francis Xavier College, he branched out of school productions, appearing as Friedrich in 2014 in the Queanbeyan Players' production of The Sound of Music. Earlier this year, he played Robertson Ay and a member of the ensemble in Free Rain's production of Mary Poppins. Following Grease, Lachy will star as Billy in his school's production of Back to the 80's, as well as reprising his time as a pirate in the Canberra Philharmonic Society's upcoming production of The Pirates of Penzance.
