Deb has been singing, dancing and acting since she could walk. When she was four she insisted her parents call her Shiny (she did eventually grow out of this). Her first performance was at the Albert Hall when she was seven year old ballet student. After hanging up her point shoes at the age of 17, she became involved in musical theatre and has continued ever since. Deb spent over 12 years in Melbourne performing with various companies in a wide variety of roles both on stage and in film - the highlight production of her time in Melbourne was Les Miserables. Since returning to Canberra in 2006 she has appeared in a number of Canberra musical productions, tv commercials and short films. Deb enjoys playing character roles - both naughty and nice. In this production of Into the Woods, she is enjoying the contrast between the ghostly role of Cinderella's Mum and the somewhat-blood thirsty Granny. Deb hopes you enjoy Into the Woods as much as she enjoys being a part of this great show.
